Top 10 Airports Use UFIS®

Three of the top 10 busiest airports in the world use UFIS Airport Solutions' (UFIS-AS) Universal Flight Information System (UFISŪ). These rankings for Singapore Changi Airport (6), Dubai International Airport (8), and Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport (9) are based on international passenger travel in 2007, according to Airports Council International (ACI).

UFIS-AS Completes the Persons with Reduced Mobility (PRM) Project with Aeroporti di Roma

UFIS Airport Solutions (UFIS-AS) is proud to announce the completion of the persons with reduced mobility (PRM) project with Aeroporti di Roma (AdR). The new application enables handling agents at the airport to plan and dispatch staff for the PRM service using UFIS-AS's Resource Management System. The main driver for this project was the EC regulation 1107/2006 which came into full force on July 26, 2008. With the substantial contribution of UFIS-AS, AdR is one of the first airport companies in the EC to successfully introduce IT support for the planning and allocation of resources to provide the necessary services.

UFIS-AS Supports Athens International Airport in Providing Services for PRM

UFIS Airport Solutions (UFIS-AS) has been awarded a contract by Athens International Airport (AIA) to support them in providing services to persons with reduced mobility (PRM). This is the third airport, following Aeroporti di Roma (AdR) and Hannover (HAJ), to take advantage of this new application, enabling operators at the airport to plan and dispatch staff for the PRM service using the Universal Flight Information System (UFISŪ) Resource Management System (RMS).
