Three Trophies for UFIS-AS as a Sponsor at Trofeo Alto Adriatico for the Paralympic 2.4mR Class
UFIS Airport Solutions (UFIS-AS) is proud to announce the second gold medal for sailing athlete George Delikouras at the Italian Open Regatta in Malfalcone for the Paralympic 2.4mR class, held 21-22 June. With this result Delikouras also won the mini-series “Trofeo Alto Adriatico” which included three regattas held in Italy during June – Jesolo, Lignano and Malfalcone. The regattas are part of the preparation of Delikouras for the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games. UFIS-AS is one of Delikouras' sponsors.

Graz, 27th June, 2008 – UFIS Airport Solutions (UFIS-AS) is proud to announce the second bronze medal for sailing athlete George Delikouras at the Italian Open Regatta “Trofeo citta di Lignano” for the Paralympic 2.4mR class, held 14-15 June. This is the third medal for Delikouras following a gold medal at the Athens Eurolymp Week and a bronze one at the Italian Open Regatta in Livorno. The regattas are part of the preparation of Delikouras for the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games. UFIS-AS is one of Delikouras' sponsors.

UFIS Airport Solutions (UFIS-AS) took part in this year’s Dubai Airport Show, 2-4 June, together with its partner in the Middle East -- Dubai Technology Partners (DTP). The exhibition is the biggest in the Middle East and Asia for suppliers to the airport industry and took place in the Airport Expo Dubai.

When Bangalore International Airport opened on 24th of May with the first flight taking off to Singapore, UFIS Airport Solutions (UFIS-AS) was there with its Universal Flight Information System (UFIS®), providing operational IT support. In partnership with Siemens Information Systems Limited (SISL) India, UFIS-AS has successfully implemented its Airport Operational Database, Flight Information Processing System, Flight Information Display System, and Apron Management System together with Systems Integration and Interfaces to standard external systems such as the ATC and SITA Telex.
